Directions
Wet face and work Kiehl's Facial Fuel Energizing Face Wash into a lather. Massage onto skin in an upward and outward motion, avoiding the immediate eye area. Rinse well and follow with a moisturiser, if desired. May be used both AM and PM.

New formula is terrible 👎
Been using this product for over 5 years and always been very good . Unfortunately due to its recent formula changes it’s now very poor to use . You need to use 4x as much liquid to be able to wash your face and does not leave you with the fresh feel the old formula did . It may be better for the plannet but it’s not better for your customers ! Sorry , won’t be buying this again .

Once great product, now ruined.
I've been using this for 15 years and thought my latest bottle must have been from a bad batch, until I read the other reviews here. The reformulation has ruined this product - it no longer lathers well, it's hard to rinse off and it smells harsh. I used to feel squeaky clean and fresh after using this and I no longer do - sadly I bought a 1l bottle which I'll now have to use up as it's expensive, but I won't be buying it again.

Severe Skin Reaction from New Formula:
Similar to many others, the fact you have changed the formula and tried to fly under the radar with it is outright disrespectful. Not only that, but your products are now not only increasing significantly in cost but now getting much worse.
To tell a short story, I had an extreme breakout in what was thought to be dermatitis around 6 months ago and I've never experienced anything like it. It took 4 months of stripping back my skin routine and countless visits to the GP and use of prescription and steroid creams. The GP still doesn't know what it is, and has referred me onto a dermatologist which I'm still waiting for an appointment for.
Given my skin has been ok for 1-2 months now, I slowly incorporated this face wash back into my skin routine and quickly realised its this face wash. It immediately triggers my skin into a reaction, with what others have described as a sun burn look and burning sensation and extreme dryness from it. It also worsens any small spots I have - immediately.
Unfortunately I will be avoiding this face wash at all costs now and you've lost yourself an extremely loyal customer to one of your products.

Was great but now just seems to be a different watered down formula that is rather expensive to buy. I’ll find something else.

New formula clearly a cost reduction exercise.
New formula obviously cost cutting. The new product formula is clearly not as good and I will stop using once I run out. Have been using this product for nearly 10 years so it's a shame. Will be switching to another brand now. L'Oreal strikes again!

Great face wash and good value
Excellent value - a little goes a long way and the clean from the product is one of the best around. Lathers really well and leaves skin feeling very clean and not tight. Use before wet shaving to prepare the skin.

Prefer the old formula
The new version doesn’t lather up at all nor dies it tingle after washing. I saw better results with the old formula.
