Perfect skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser is everything my skin needs: it makes it acne free, cleans the pores and shrinks them, moisturises it and it works as a primer too. I love how my makeup looks after applying it, as all products I’ve used so far for my acne probe skin would make my skin dry, flaky or greasy, not being able to apply any type of foundation. This is great. I love the smooth scent and the amazing texture too.

Amazing formula
I really love this product. It absorbs really well into my skin, mixes into all of my other skincare really well and it’s a godsend for somebody with dry blemish prone skin which isn’t one of the main skin types. This looks out for hydration and acne both post during breakouts!

Not bad

I received this product from La roche posay as a member of the Community and I had big expectationsas I am a big fan of the original La Roche-Posay-Effaclar Duo(+). Similarly to the original one it's fragrance free, non irritating, non comedonic and makes my oily skin matte. I combine it with the cleanser from the same range. I've been testing it already for 4 weeks but haven't noticed any improvement with my post-acne marks, maybe it takes longer time to work. Also, the acne around my problematic area hadn't reduced, but I don't consider it to be due to this product. I am hopeful that results will be visible in a few weeks. Overall not a bad product.

Love this!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This moisturiser does so many things at once!
Its formula recognises the needs of skin prone to breakouts and provides nourishing moisturising benefits but at the same time, works to eradicate things that cause breakouts in the first place, genius!
The ingredients are fab:
Salicylic Acid: Oil-soluble exfoliant that helps clear blocked pores and refines texture
Lipo-hydroxy Acid: A chemical exfoliant ideal for blemish-prone skin
Niacinamide: Known as vitamin B3, helps to brighten the complexion
Zinc PCA: A hydrating active, derived from naturally occurring amino acids
I found that the texture of the moisturiser, being in gel form was really soothing, cooling and refreshing on my skin. It felt light to apply and absorbed really well. I could use under makeup without issue and there was no piling.
I definitely felt that my skin was clearer after using this over a few weeks. My skin texture and tone looked improved and it was visibly smoother and my pores looked better.
I also noticed that it worked really well with oil control. It managed excess shine and helped me achieve a more matte finish over time.
Despite it having micro exfoliant properties, it didn’t feel harsh, drying or irritating. It left my skin feeling hydrated and well moisturised throughout the day.
Overall I was really pleased with the results and look forward to seeing more as time goes on!

🔹 This anti-breakout moisturiser gently exfoliates to help prevent breakouts, it contains key ingredients including new phylobioma active, niacinamide, proceradtm, mannose, salicylic acid & LHA.
🔹 This moisturiser is suitable for blemish-prone, oily-combination skin. It’s lightweight, absorbs quickly and leaves no greasy feeling on the skin and provides great hydration. This moisturiser makes my skin feel smooth, hydrated and soft. It’s great for sensitive skin and it hasn’t caused any irritation to my skin either.

It absolutely broke my skin, it’s irritated, red and I have new blemishes. I loved the previous duo+, it was an absolute heaven. Incredibly disappointed

In my famiwe all suffer with acne and oily skin and this moisturiser is very helpful with tackling those skin concerns!!

Great for blemish prone skin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Effaclar Duo+M Anti-Blemish Corrective Gel Moisturiser has done wonders for my skin. The gel is great for blemish prone combination skin and absorbs well, without leaving any greasy residue. It has helped clear my blemishes and kept my skin moisturised. I have noticed a significant improvement in my skin since I started using it.
