Waterproof is excellent.
I used to use the art liner by Lacombe, but decided to give this one a try because it’s waterproof. I have a problem with red watery eyes, and this product works very well for that. The only thing I don’t like is the tip. The very end of the tip applicator Dries out very quickly, making it hard to make a straight line on my lid. Where my eyelids wrinkle, the applicator misses it, causing the uneven line.P

Fun to try but I don’t know that’d I’d buy again
I have never used black eyeliner before. I do like this eyeliner for ease of holding it and it has a nice fine tip. I am still on a learning curve of figuring out how to use it. I did notice today that the eyeliner was cracking off my skin at the corners of my eyes. Also it is supposed to be waterproof but my eye was watering and it smudged it off at the corner of my eye. I will keep practicing with it. But I don’t know if I would buy it again. I probably prefer eye pencils for liners.

I have brown eyes and have always used a black eyeliner but decided to try this one in brown. I absolutely love it! Glides on so smoothly and really lasts! I add a bit of shadow to the outside line for a smoky effect. Be sure to let it dry before blending. Love the look!

Black & Gray Idole liners win! Brown has NO color!
I’ve used Idole liners in black and gray for a long time, and they are great! They have bold color payoff and they last all day and night. I decided to try the Idole liner in Syrup Brown last month, and I’m so disappointed. It’s like the brown color is not even from the same product line. Either that, or I received a liner that’s dried out, but that’s never happened to me with the black or gray Idole liners before. Plus, it feels cold (wet) on application, but almost no color comes out. I only used it once because I had to apply multiple times repeatedly to get a VERY faint brown. I finally gave up and went over it with my black. I can’t return a used eye liner, so it’s just a waste. I’m rating 4 stars only because I’ve been consistently happy with the other colors, but if that wasn’t a consideration and I’d only tried the brown, it would be no stars and I’d never purchase again.
