Directions

So hydrating with a little plumping effect
This The Inkey List lip balm is fantastic for not only hydrating my lips but also giving them an almost high gloss look. It's packed with oils such as olive oil, sunflower, Babassu, and castor oil, along with shea, mango seed butter, Cupuacu seed butter and squalane These work well on my lips to keep them feeling silky smooth and well hydrated. What I particularly like about this Tripeptide Plumping Lip balm is how long it lasts on my lips. I have used a wide range of lip balms that I have to constantly reapply as it comes off when I drink or simply wear off quietly. This lip balm has really good longevity. Even after drinking, I can still feel it on my lips. It also seeps into my skin with the oils that are in it. As for the plumping effect. Whilst I've not always reapplied at least 3 times a day, over the past months that I have been using it, I have noticed a slight difference. This balm has a thick gel/waxy type of texture, which is very easy to massage into my lips.

Awful
This lip balm is extremely drying and offered no hydration at all. After using it my lips felt very dry and flaky,. I have tried to persevere with it but to no avail

Does plump but not great as a lip balm!!
Have been using this product on and off for a few years now, the formula does actually help to plump my lips and I feel like the shape of my lips is subtly improved but I just can't get past the plastic-y chemical-y smell! not enjoyable at all! the texture is also not great, very thin and not moisturising enough, Inky List would do better creating a thicker lip mask type product with this plumping effect or a proper lip gloss / oil! the Mulberry shade released recently was gorgeous but my lips are too dry in the winter for this to work for me as a lip balm and I find if I use it regularly I'm now getting peeling lips! such a shame, could be improved upon!

Drys my lips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven't really been able to use this consistently enough to see if the plumping claims are true as it drys my lips out. I'm hoping to try it again when the weather is a bit warmer and my lips will be less prone to chapping.

Smells & tastes terrible.
I really wanted to love this but it smells awful, tastes terrible and the formula seperates, so you get lumps of unmixed ingredients. It smells like rancid oil and the taste is that, plus an unpleasant chemical-y flavour, similar to petroleum. The only plus is that it's very shiny on the lips, and does appear to be pretty hydrating in the short term, though it doesn't last long on the lips. The texture is very thin & slippy for a balm, it's more like a lip oil.I can't comment on the plumping claims (though if it really was a 40% improvement I'd expect that to be noticeable in the brand's own before/after photos... lol), as I CANNOT use this multiple times a day for any kind of extended period, it tastes too bad - I'm not going to voluntarily put myself through that!

Plump hydrated lips
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has turned my dry, cracked, lined lips into a beautifully plump, smooth and hydrated pout. Consistency is key though. Using at least 3 times a day. I was lazy and just applied once, maybe twice a day for a bit, during my evening and night routines. But once I starting topping up throughout day as needed - a tiny amount goes a long way- I started to see noticeable results in about two weeks, and my lips look more plump and full even between tops ups.
