This formula combines very high concentrations of two of the most powerful and important antioxidants in skincare: Resveratrol and Ferulic Acid. Resveratrol is a natural phenol found in several plants and pure source is 100% derived from Japanese Knotweed. Ferulic Acid is a high-potency phytochemical antioxidant found naturally in walls of plant cells. Skincare formulations generally incorporate Resveratrol at 1% or less and Ferulic Acid at 0.5% or less. This formula contains each at 3%, an exceptionally high concentration. Note: Water can impair the stability of any antioxidant. This formula does not contain any water, silicones, oils or alcohol.

Seems to work
It's wild to me how people just go ham on products and do absolutely NO research on the ingredients, lol. People on here saying they bought 47974 bottles before even trying it and then having a reaction blows my mind. I'm not sure how The Ordinary derives their ferulic acid, but alot of companies extract it from grains. So if you are sensitive to gluten, PROBABLY DON'T USE THIS, YOU'LL HAVE A REACTION.
I gave this 4 stars because for me, it takes too long to sink in. It won't stop me from using it, but I don't like to wait for my products to absorb. I was seeing ok results with the alpha arbutin, but needed more oomph. I haven't been using this long, (only about 4 weeks), but I can tell that some of my stubborn acne spots are a tad more faded. Nothing with sun spots yet. I'll probably buy another bottle and continue to use with the alpha arbutin to see how far I can get.

I mix this with my vit C as together they give a mutual antioxidant and brightening boost. You have to remember TO products pack a punch so two/three drops is plenty

I've been using The Ordinary's Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% serum for three weeks now. I didn't have high expectations. I simply knew these ingredients were antioxidants, so I hoped it would help combat pollution and sun damage. My skin has definitely brightened and has a healthy glow. As someone with dry skin, this is a huge plus. The serum has a fluid, easy-to-spread texture that absorbs quickly. I love the subtle, botanical scent. I've noticed an improvement in my skin tone and hyperpigmentation. The serum has also helped calm my rosacea-prone skin. Despite layering it with other products in my nighttime routine, it hasn't caused any pilling or flaking. Overall, I’ve been quite happy with this serum. It’s effective, affordable, and gentle on my skin.
