does the trick for pencils
For some reason I didn't own a pencil sharpener and you can't beat Tweezerman quality, especially for the price. I haven't tried a chubby pencil yet but this put the point back on my new lip pencil in a couple of twists. The clear plastic part comes off for cleaning, though it feels a bit stiff so I fear I may one day break it, though this wouldn't prevent the sharpener from still being useful.

This sharpener is excellent! I love that you can sharpen two different sized pencils using the same tool. It effectively sharpens makeup pencils. I’ve had my sharpener for years now and it still works like a charm! I highly recommend this product!
