The formula is highly pigmented and you get full color in one pass. This shade was long lasting with little product transfer. I didn't find this formula "moisturizing" as stated in the description, however this lipstick is way less drying than other matte lipstick brands.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Classy Lipstick I got this Gucci lipstick sample at Sephora, the color is called they met in Argentina. I wanted it because it’s small and fits into my mini bags. When you open the lipstick it has a strong perfume scent and you can taste it when you have it on. The lipstick is buttery and just glides on your lips. It is very pigmented, just with one swipe you can see the color. If you don’t eat or drink this lipstick will last you a long time. Once you eat and wipe your lips, the lipstick starts to come off. Overall it is a good hydrating, buttery, pigmented lipstick.

The lipstick is very smooth on the lips, does not dry the lips, i feel like it lasted for a long time throughout the day and the gold shell design is very luxurious.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So smooth,comfortable, long lasting! I’m in love with the formula of Gucci Mattes! Joanna Burgundy is my 4th lipstick in the line. It’s a cool burgundy plum shade. Louisa Red is similar in tone but is way more red. The lasting powder is amazing which is where the formula shines, and it’s hydrating! It doesn’t crack or dry out my lips! I can drink from a coffee cup and there’s minimal transfer with tons of color left behind on my lips. If you have an event this is the formula to try!
