Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous, effortless glam If the colors are darker for your skin tone doesn't mean the palette is bad. Happens with lipsticks all the time. Anyways, if you are a medium or medium-tan skin tone, this palette was made for you. Check YouTube videos I've seen lighter skin tones get pretty looks from this palette. I LOVE it. It is my first Nars eyeshadow palette. The colours are so sofisticated glam I think that's my favorite thing about it. Even the glittery type shades are sofisticated and daytime wear appropriate. I don't like too shimmery, shiny , opaque glittery shadows but I would still like some glam.

I love rosy-brown tones and bought this as a birthday gift for myself. I was disappointed. Many of the shades need a LOT of building up to show up on my deeper skin tone (which isn't that deep-I'm around Nars Cadiz), and the staying power is just not there, even when used with an eye primer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This one was a no for me Great quality shadows as always from NARS but I wasn't particularly crazy of the color story. It is very dark and there are not any pale shades to soften. Probably would be better suited for darker skin tones. I'm very fair skinned and it just looked dark and muddy on me. All the colors are very similar in tone which doesn't allow for much options. Gave to my light toned (darker than me) niece and she wasn't crazy over the colors on her either.
